Now that Karou has taken control of the chimaera rebellion, the future of the war between the chimaera and the angels rests on her. Akiva returns and forges an alliance with Karou, but their love seems to have grown cold. They are allied against a threat even bigger than the angels and chimaera, which if it is not stopped, will end all life as they know it.
