A snowstorm has Maggie and her parents busy with preparations - shopping for extra food, filling the bathtub with water, and covering Bramble's hay before nightfall. While the people hunker down, Bramble takes advantage of an unlatched barn door and wanders out into the swirling snowflakes for an adventure all her own.
