Paula and Maggie have been friends as long as the two can remember, despite their differences, the first and most obvious being that Paula is a small beaver and Maggie is an appropriately large elephant. These differences never bothered Paula before the class "mean-girl" points them out and seems to welcome Paula into her fold of friends. After abandoning her longtime friend, Paula soon finds herself on the receiving end of the bullying. And as the true friend she has always been, Maggie sticks up for Paula, teaching Paula a thing or two about forgiveness and true friendship.
