The night his best friend, Q, dies, Jamal hadn't been friends with him for two years because Jamal blames Q for the accident that killed his parents. A new technology allows Q to be reanimated for a few weeks before dying permanently, but Q doesn't know that he died or that Jamal tried to save him or that he's about to die again. Q's mom forbids anyone from telling Q the truth so that he can enjoy his last few weeks. Jamal realizes that he has a second chance to make things right, but how can he fix things if he can't tell Q the truth?
