Sixteen-year-old Savannah Taylor is kidnapped by a man in a white van outside her kung fu class and everyone thinks she ran away. Several people, including a friend, her mother, and the local cop, provide their point of view on the abduction while desperately searching for Savannah. Meanwhile, Savannah meets fellow prisoner, Jenny Dowd, whom the man abducted ten months earlier, and the two vow to escape or die trying.
