Trinity loves all the parts of her identity as a young black transgender girl with autism expect for one thing: her hair. She has short hair, and she feels that she needs it to be long in order to express who she really is. Her mom and brother Lucien head to the beauty store to find the perfect wig for Trinity. None of the wigs seem right for her until Lucien gets an idea. He suggests they make her one out of different colored hair, and Trinity wakes up to find a purple, blue, and pink wig that is perfect for her.
