Having reclaimed her throne from the Kaiser, Theo now needs to raise an army to free her still enslaved people. Unfortunately, the only one she can call on is her aunt, the feared pirate Dragonsbane, who assures Theo that an army can be summoned, but only if she marries--something no Astrean Queen has ever done. Theo is then faced with freeing her country but potentially losing a part of herself in the process.
