Inspired by true events, a blind horse named Charlie arrives at Open Bud Ranch to recover from his injuries and learn how to survive. Charlie is unable to sense that an abused goat named Jack wants to be left alone, but slowly the two develop a friendship after Jack realizes that Charlie could use his help getting around the farm. When the pair are caught in a storm and Charlie gets stranded, Jack must muster up the courage to call on the other animals to help him save Charlie.
