In this final installment of the "Chronicles of Prydain," Arawan, Lord of Death, gets his hands on the most powerful weapon in the land of Prydain. In the middle of a bitter winter, Taran and Prince Gwydion pull together an army to fight the dark power. Eventually, Taran makes his way to the center of Arawan's power and must make a difficult decision.
