As a high schooler, Jarrett J. Krosoczka joins a program that sends students to be counselors at Camp Sunshine, a camp for seriously ill kids and their families. During his time at camp, Jarrett learns about how to live life to the fullest as he helps the kids get the full camp experience, complete with wilderness challenges, spooky campfire stories, and lake swimming.
