200 years after Cinderella met her prince, girls are required to attend the annual ball where they are judged and selected by the men of the kingdom. Girls not chosen are never heard from again. Sixteen-year-old Sophia doesn't want a husband, and she would much rather marry her childhood best friend, Erin. While at the ball, Sophia runs away to Cinderella's mausoleum where she meets Constance, the last known descendant of Cinderella. Together, the two hatch a plan overthrow the king and change the kingdom forever.
