Seventeen-year-old Emily Walters has been chosen to participate in a summer field trip to Paris where she'll compete for the chance to win a full-ride scholarship to a private school. The opportunity gives Emily the chance to escape her secrets, including the fact that she and her single mother are homeless, and that without the scholarship, she has little chance at a secure future. Little does she realize that the competition begins on the plane and one-by-one, bodies begin piling up, forcing Emily to question whom to trust while she deduces the killer.
