Rival pianist Geoffroy and five kittens have moved into Mr. Kanda's home, but things get complicated when a young woman claiming to be Mr. Kanda's daughter appears while Mr. Kanda is away. Then, Geoffroy and Kanade are even more surprised when Mr. Kanda's son, Hoshinari, arrives as well, and they learn that he doesn't like cats. Hoshinari never succeeded as a pianist like his father, so when Kira suggests he join Moriyama's band, he balks at the suggestion. But when Moriyama decides to ask Mr. Kanda to join his band after all, Hoshinari changes him mind and surprises Moriyama by agreeing to join his band.
